Srinagar: At least three people have lost their lives and four others sustained critical injuries in a tragic road accident involving a private tempo near Bhart village, located around 25 km from Doda town.
Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh confirmed the incident, stating that he had spoken directly with Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, who is personally monitoring the rescue and relief operations.
“ 3 casualties reported so far, 4 others critically injured. All possible help and medical assistance is being provided on the ground. The DC is updating me regularly,” Dr Jitendra Singh said.
He expressed deep condolences to the families of the deceased and assured that any further assistance required will be promptly arranged.
Rescue operation is going on, while authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident. (KINS)
