Srinagar: Police in Pulwama have issued a traffic advisory in view of the ongoing day-and-night cricket matches at Sports Stadium Pulwama.
As per officials, heavy and medium motor vehicles will be diverted from Peaks Naka Crossing and Boonera Naka towards the Old Circular Road from 4:00 pm onwards. To keep the hospital road free for patients and ambulances, only emergency vehicles will be allowed on that stretch.
General commuters will be diverted towards the Sirnoo–New Circular Road via Muran Chowk and Gudoora, while spectators’ vehicles will not be permitted on hospital road. Fans have been asked to park at Old Bus Stand, Prichoo Fruit Mandi, Chatapora Sumo Stand, or New Circular Road, and walk to the stadium.
Traffic Police and district administration have urged the public to cooperate so that inconvenience is minimized during the matches.
