Srinagar: Coordinator for Shaltang Constituency, Mir Umar , along with Block Presidents of Urban and Rural Central Shaltang, convened a comprehensive workers’ meeting at Zainakote on Friday to review and reinforce the party’s grassroots organizational framework.

The meeting witnessed the participation of senior party functionaries, grassroots workers, and local representatives from across the constituency. The primary agenda centered on assessing the existing organizational structure at the booth and block levels and formulating strategies to further strengthen the party in Shaltang.

Addressing the gathering, Mir Umar underscored the importance of unity, coordination, and sustained public outreach. He urged party workers to maintain close contact with the people, listen to their concerns, and work collectively to resolve pressing local issues. He stated that the party’s strength lies in its dedicated cadre and their continuous engagement with the masses.

The Block Presidents of Urban and Rural Central Shaltang also addressed the workers, stressing the need to enhance booth-level organization, improve communication between leadership and grassroots workers, and mobilize support across all areas of the constituency.

During the meeting, several local developmental issues were discussed in detail. It was resolved that a comprehensive works plan, reflecting the needs and aspirations of the people of Shaltang, would be prepared and formally submitted to the party leadership for appropriate action.

The meeting concluded with a collective pledge to intensify organizational activities and ensure broader public engagement in the coming weeks.
