Anantnag, April 08, :SSP Anantnag, Shri Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS, today convened an introductory meeting with senior officers of District Anantnag. uring the meeting, SSP Anantnag laid special emphasis on strengthening counter-terrorism measures and maintaining a high level of alertness to thwart any potential threats. He also directed officers to intensify efforts against drug trafficking and abuse, highlighting the importance of a robust anti-narcotics strategy to safeguard the youth. Further, he underscored the need for effective implementation of the new criminal laws, ensuring that all officers are well-versed with recent legal provisions and procedural changes for better delivery of justice.
Highlighting the importance of public engagement, SSP Anantnag stressed proactive public outreach, community policing, and building trust between the police and the public. He encouraged officers to remain accessible, responsive, and sensitive to the needs and concerns of the people.
SSP Anantnag held a detailed interaction with the officers and emphasized the importance of maintaining professionalism, discipline, and a people-friendly approach in policing.
