Anantnag, 07 May : In continuation of its sustained efforts to ensure strict compliance with regulatory norms and to curb the misuse of pharmaceutical substances, Anantnag Police carried out a joint inspection of medical establishments in the Utrasoo area in coordination with officials from the Drug Control Department Anantnag. During the inspection conducted by Police Post Utrasoo along with Drug Control Officers, two medical shops operating at village Kreeri, Utrasoo were found involved in certain discrepancies and violations of prescribed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Acting upon the observed irregularities, the concerned department sealed the following medical establishments on spot: ▪︎ Darul Shafa – owned by Bashir Ahmad Bhat S/O Mohd Ahsan Bhat ▪︎ Bhat Medical Shop – owned by Irshad Ahmad Shah (Son-in-law of Gh. Rasool Bhat) The action forms part of Anantnag Police’s ongoing drive against unlawful practices involving pharmaceutical substances and to ensure that all medical establishments operate strictly in accordance with the law and prescribed guidelines.
