Anantnag , 17 March : In a highly significant development, GMC Anantnag students bring laurels to the college in the recently held University level examination of Part 3 phase 1 ( prefinal) MBBS . As reported by the academic registrar GMC Anantnag Dr Azia Manzoor, the first topper of the Pre final MBBS university exam for Kashmir division is Faizan Iqbal, a student from GMC Anantnag. Mr Faizan has secured more than 80% marks ( 405/500), which is a dream milestone for any medical student in MBBS University exams. Dr Azia Manzoor further said that a large number of students from GMC Anantnag have secured more than 70 percent marks, which is a rare happening in medical professional university examinations.
It is pertinent to mention that students from GMC Anantnag, a new Medical College of UT of Jammu and Kashmir, have topped university exams in recent past as well which is making this institution as the college of choice, along with GMC Srinagar and GMC Jammu, for the students to choose for joining the MBBS and other paramedical course.
Principal and Dean of GMC Anantnag Prof. Dr. Rukhsana Najeeb congratulated all the students for passing the examination with flying colours and appreciated them for bringing laurels to GMC Anantnag through their hardwork and dedication.
