Srinagar, Oct 23, KNT: Renowned educator and civil services mentor Avadh Ojha, popularly known as Ojha Sir, has urged civil service aspirants to develop a broad outlook towards education, maintain focus on their goals and cultivate clarity of thought, saying that learning should not remain confined to classrooms or textbooks.
Addressing civil service aspirants at Srinagar-based coaching institute ‘Ignited Minds’, Ojha encouraged students to learn from their surroundings, experiences and everyday life. Drawing a comparison with Rancho, the popular character from the film 3 Idiots, he stressed that students should remain curious and open to gaining knowledge from everywhere rather than limiting their learning to conventional academic settings.
He emphasized that focus and clarity of thought are essential for aspirants navigating the demanding journey of civil services preparation. A clear understanding of one’s goals, coupled with a willingness to learn continuously, can help students develop a stronger intellectual foundation and approach their preparation with greater confidence.
Ojha also congratulated ‘Ignited Minds’ for preparing students for civil services examinations from Classes 11 and 12, particularly by encouraging students from the Arts stream to consider the civil services as a career path. He appreciated the institute’s early-preparation approach, which allows students to begin developing their understanding of subjects and the broader issues relevant to competitive examinations well before they reach the final stages of their academic journey.
