Srinagar: In a joint initiative aimed at promoting community healthcare, Ehsaas Foundation in collaboration with the Fire & Emergency Services (F&ES) Department today organized a free medical camp at the (F&ES) Headquarters in Batmaloo area of Srinagar.
The camp offered free health check-ups and consultations for staff members as well as the general public. A team of doctors, led by Dr. Ibrar Bashir, Medical Officer Fire & Emergency, provided medical services to participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Abida Rashid, General Secretary of Ehsaas Foundation, underscored the significance of community-driven health initiatives. She praised the Fire & Emergency Services Department for extending its support in organizing the camp.
Dr. Ibrar emphasized the importance of routine health check-ups, particularly for frontline workers who often perform their duties under demanding and risky conditions.
The event saw an enthusiastic response from attendees, many of whom availed themselves of the free health services. Organizers reaffirmed their commitment to continue such welfare programs for the broader benefit of society.
