ANANTNAG – It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we report the passing of Mrs. Razia Akhtar, mother of Mr. Khurram Rasool, Assistant General Manager (AGM) of J&K Bank, Srinagar. Mrs. Akhtar breathed her last at the age of 68 following a brief illness.
The deceased was the wife of Mr. Ghulam Rasool, a highly respected former AGM of J&K Bank. She was widely known in the community for her pious nature, kindness, and unwavering dedication to her family. Her demise has been described as a significant loss to all who knew her.
Mourning and Funeral Rites
The family has finalized the arrangements for the final rites and prayers:
• Fateh-Khawani (Residence): Initial prayers and condolences will be held at their residence in Gulshahabad, Anantnag, throughout tomorrow.
• Congregational Fateh-Khawani: The congregational prayers for the departed soul will take place this Friday.
• Time: 2:00 PM.
• Venue: The ancestral graveyard in Chawalgam, Kulgam.
